least favorite character and favorite character

The one character that I even thought about putting down as my least favorite character of the year is Coin from Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. She only did one bad thing, but it was the worst thing ever done in a book, in my opinion. For anyone who is reading this book or planning to read it, I won't say what she did. If you have read this book, you should know what I'm talking about.
My favorite character this year had to be Jace from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. He had to be my favorite character because he protects plain humans from an unknown world, to them. The other reason I picked him is because he seems like a fun person to hang out with. I finished all of my books. I need suggestions for a good book of any genre.

City of Ashes

Hello class, this week I read City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. The cast for this book in my mind would be as follows:
Jace- Alex Pettyfer because he is mysterious and has light brown hair like Jace.
Clary- Shailene Woodley because they have the same hair and their personalities seem the same.
Alec- Ryan Merriman because he has the same dark hair and when I was reading I saw someone like him in my mind.
Isabelle- Ashley Greene because she has super dark hair like Isabelle and she looks like she could be related to Ryan Merriman.
 I am done with my fourty books. I do need suggestions for a good series of any genre.

City of Bones

     Hello, this week I read City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. It's about a girl named Clary who finds out her mom's secret past. A song that would describe Alec, one of the main characters, is Lean on Me by Bill Withers. This is so because; Alec is always there when his friends need him. A song that would describe Isabelle, Alec's sister, is Can't Be Tamed by Miley Cyrus. I picked this song because she doesn't let anyone change who she is and how she acts. The song Fidelity by Regina Spektor describes Clary, another one of the main characters. I chose this song for her, because it describes her messed up loved life and the many problems that she faces. The last song on my playlist is Chariots of Fire by Vangelis. This song describes the end of every fighting scene, because in my mind, I can picture the shadowhunters walking away in slow-motion from every fight, well if they weren't injured to badly. Just to let everyone know, I would highly recommend this series to anyone who likes fast paced fantasies.

Alex & Me

          Hey, again, this week I read Alex & Me. The one character I would like to meet, out of the two characters so far, is Alex. He was an African Gray parrot who knew colors, shapes, and atleast one-hundred english words. If I met him I would probrobly ask him what it's like to fly, if he ever wanted to be a human, and if he ever gets insulted when people use the phrse "You're a birdbrain." I would also ask him if he knows that he is smarter than most of his fellow birds and if he can paint the colors and shapes he knew.

First Book Blog

This week I read The War Between the Pitiful Teachers and the Splendid Kids by Stanley Kiesel. This book is about a kid named Skinny starting a war between the kids and teachers of the country. The characters in this book aren't realistic. I mean come on, have you ever heard of kids creating a full scale war against teachers, there are two characters in particular that make this true.

They are Big Alice and Mr.Foreclosure. Big Alice is a girl who was raised by a wild pack of hyenas. She had spent so much time with them she started growing a tail. Mr. Foreclosure is a red ant who speaks many different languages including English. This little ant has gone through all of the school in a kids pocket.

The best book that I read this year was Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. It is about Katniss and Peta's second time in the hunger games. While in the training room Katniss and Peta both do things that could cause them to lose sponsors. What they did ended up getting them more sponsors then they could ever imagine. So far I have read probably around ,I don't know, sixty to seventy some books.
